Louise Putman, 92 of the Navarro Mills Community passed away on Sunday, Jan. 29, 2017 in Waxahachie. She was born Jan. 16, 1925 in Maypearl to George Washington Wiggins and Ola Mae Berry Wiggins. She was one of 11 children. Louise was baptized in 1961 and she attended First Methodist Church in Dawson. She enjoyed flowers, gardening and baking pies and cakes and she loved to cook meals for those who came to visit. In her younger years in school she played basketball.
She was preceded in death by her parents. She is survived by her husband Clark Putman; son, Donald Gene Trull and wife Janice; grandchildren, Tammi Burris and husband Kirk and Terri Scott and husband James; great grandchildren, Amanda, Owen, Levi and Scott. She is also survived by many more family and friends.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, Feb. 1, 2017 at Griffin - Roughton Funeral Home Chapel with Denny Burris officiating. Interment will follow at Dresden Cemetery.
