Linda's Story

Linda Caton, a woman of faith and the heart of the Caton family, went to be with her Savior on Wednesday, Oct. 12, 2016 at her home surrounded by her family and loving friends.
Her strong will to live and unwavering faith in God and the love and prayers of family, friends and many supporters carried her through her long battle with cancer.
Linda retired in 2003 from Northside Baptist Church after 13 years.
She will be missed by her one true love and husband of sixty years, Buddy Caton.
Her loving legacy lives on through her four daughters and families, LaReese Arnold and husband John of Corsicana, Lisa Caton of Bellville, Donna Powell and husband Keith of Crawford and Janet Taylor and husband Dave of Keller; seven grandchildren, John William Arnold, Rachel Washburn, Preston Powell and wife Courtney, Katie and Grace Powell, Caton Keinast, Beth Taylor, Brendan Taylor, David Taylor and Shelby; two great grandchildren, Cade and Jack Banks along with numerous nieces and nephews.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Arthur and Edna McNeel and three sisters, Kay Beth Andrews, Eva Bobalik and Carole Mahon.
Visitation will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 13, 2016 at Griffin-Roughton Funeral Home.
Funeral Service will begin at 2 p.m. Friday, Oct. 14, 2016 at Northside Baptist Church with Dr. Rick Lamb officiating.
Interment will follow at Hamilton-Beeman Cemetery. Pallbearers will be John Arnold, Dave Taylor, Preston Powell,Keith Powell, John William Arnold and Caton Keinast.
