Leota Pease White, 100, of Celina formerly of Kerens, passed away Thursday, Dec. 29, 2016 in Celina. She was born Oct. 8, 1916 in Erath County to Thomas Madison Cook and Lina Pearl Lloyd Cook.
Visitation will be held from noon to 2 p.m. Monday, Jan. 2, 2017 at Paschal Funeral Home with funeral service to follow at 2 p.m. Bro. David LeFlore will officiate and burial will follow in the Kerens Cemetery.
Mrs. White is survived by two sons, Thomas Pease and wife Mary Ann of Blooming Grove and Harry Pease and wife Linda of Celina; 3 step daughters, Mary Smith of Houston, Pam Schlauch of Center Morishes, New York and Debbie Evans of Cornwell, New York; 4 grandchildren, Thomas Pease, Jr., Donna Barker, Trey Pease and Amy Minnix; 4 great grandchildren; sisters, Dorothy Gilbreath of Big Springs and Winnie Mortimer of Ft. Mohave, Arizona; brother-in-law, Gene Gilbreath of Dublin, Tx.
She is preceded in death by her parents, her first husband, C. W. "Pappy" Pease, second husband, Willard White; 3 brothers, Martin Cook, Walter Cook and Billy Cook; 2 sisters, Irene Pillow and Maxine Gilbreath.
