Larry Morgan McVay, 79, passed away in Corsicana on Friday, Sept. 9, 2016. Larry was born in Fort Worth on Nov. 18, 1936 to James Lee and Fronie (Edwards) McVay. He grew up in Paris, Texas and graduated from Paris High School in 1955. He went on to graduate from Texas A&M University with a BBA.
On June 29, 1996 he married Barbara "Butch" Hussey and together they made their home in Chatfield.
He served his country proudly in the United States Army of Fort Polk, Louisiana.
Larry was the manager of the Rice Water Supply for over 18 years and in the oil well logger for over 15 years.
He is preceded in death by his parents James Lee and Fronie McVay.
Larry is survived by his wife, Barbara McVay; sons Larry W. McVay and wife Karen, Gregory P. McVay and wife Amy and three grandchildren, Lawson McVay, Logan McVay and Reagan McVay.
Memorial services were held at 12:30 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 11, 2016. at First United Methodist Church.
