Kevin Hill passed away Sunday, April 30, 2017 at Baylor Medical Center in Dallas. Kevin was surrounded by the love of his family and peacefully left us to be welcomed into the arms of our Heavenly Father. Kevin was born Dec. 5, 1970 in Wortham to Howard and Connie Hill.
Kevin loved the Bible verse Psalm 23 and The Lord's Prayer and talked about being saved many times to his friends and family. He also enjoyed playing his guitars, cooking out with friends and fishing, but most of all he loved his family and being a papa. Kevin loved telling stories and making people laugh and had a huge smile, but his heart was even bigger. He was always willing to help a friend or anyone that was in need. Kevin was a loving son, Father, Brother, Uncle and Friend and will be missed by everyone that knew him. He will forever be in our hearts and will never be forgotten.
Kevin was preceded in death by his loving grandparents Clyde and Edna Cobb of Corsicana, Douglas and Joan Hill of McAllen and his Uncle Dale McCain of Marietta, Ohio.
He leaves behind his loving wife Tina; mother and step-father Bill and Connie Little and father Howard Hill; sister Sherri and husband Robert Jaecks and step-brother Rick Denton; children Madison and husband Matt Speed, Britney and husband Jon-Erik Lenart and Mackenzie Hill; special niece Skyler and husband Tommy Strong; grandchildren Atticus Speed, Layla Lenart; great nephew Thomas Strong; aunts Karen McCain, Charlotte Watson and Cynthia and husband Marshall Helms; uncle Fred Brown; sister-in-law Marlisa Emmons; brother-in-law Tracey Renfrow; mother-in-law Marguerite Kitchen; numerous cousins and many other family members as well. Kevin also leaves behind longtime friends David Gryder, Stephen Linex, Stacey Henderson, Mike Bell and many more.
Visitation will be held from 10 a.m. to noon Friday, May 5, 2017 at Corley Funeral home and graveside services to follow at 1 p.m. at the Hamilton-Beeman Cemetery with Bro. Johnathan Simons officiating.
Pallbearers will be Stacey Henderson, Stephen Linex, Matt Speed, Les Collins, Robert Jaecks and Tommy Strong. Honorary pallbearers are David Gryder, Freddie Gryder and Mike Bell.
Memorial contributions may be made to the American Heart Association for those desiring to do so.
