Keven Glenn Prater, age 50, of Blooming Grove passed away Thursday, Jan. 4, 2018 after a long battle with colon cancer. He was born July 26, 1967 to Glenn and Delores Prater in Corsicana, Texas. Keven graduated from Corsicana High School in 1985. He attended Navarro College but soon turned his hobby and talent in the car audio field into a life career. At the age of 24, Keven opened his first business, Traffic Jam, in Irving. He spent over the next 20 years in the car audio industry and developed a reputation as one of the top designers in the field. He had a love for music and playing the drums. Keven was an outdoor enthusiast. He enjoyed riding his motorcycle, hunting, fishing, and ATV trail riding. Keven was an avid Dallas Cowboys fan and felt fortunate that his life career allowed him to design for some of their players. His life was nothing short of an adventure. While cancer limited his quantity of life, he never allowed anything to limit the quality of time with his large circle of friends and loved ones.
