Kenneth Barber Kenneth Leroy Barber, 63 of Corsicana passed away, Tuesday, Feb. 26, 2019. He was born in Corsicana to Dealey and Raymond L. Barber on Dec. 17, 1955. He retired from the city of Corsicana in March 2013.
He was a wonderful person with a kind loving spirit. He loved spending time with family and friends. Nothing made him happier than spending time with his grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his son, Kenneth Jason Barber; mom, Dealey Barber and brother, Alan Barber.
He is survived by his wife of 44 years, Debra Barber; daughter, Kayla Simmington and husband Justin; father, Raymond L. Barber; granddaughter, Jaycee Simmington; grandson, Jaxon Simmington; siblings, Carolyn Phillips, Raymond Barber, Thelma Neal, Delores Latham, Linda Holifield, Bill Barber and a number of nieces and nephews.
Visitation with the family will b held from 5 to 7 p.m. Saturday, March 2, 2019 at Griffin-Roughton Funeral Home. Funeral Service will be held at 10 a.m. Sunday, March 3, 2019 at Griffin-Roughton Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor James Williams officiating.
Interment to follow at Grape Creek. Pallbearers will be James Shelton, Dennis Dickerson, Buddy Kirk, David Jock, Wally Jenkins and James Ewing.

We are so sorry to hear about Kenneth's passing. We were recently talking about "Kenneth and Debra", wondering how they were doing. Debra, 44 years is a very long time to accumulate many, many memories. May you keep those memories close to your heart.
