Julia's Story

Julia Crawford Hull, 89, of Corsicana passed away Friday, Jan. 19, 2018 at Trisun Care Center in Corsicana. She was born March 12, 1928 in Purdon to Houston Dewitt Griffin and Nora Mae Williams Griffin.
She was a very loving wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister and friend. She spent her early years of life in Galveston. She returned to Corsicana in 1958 where she then joined Westminster Presbyterian Church. She had joyful heart for working and being with people, she owned Sew-N-Fabric store for many years and then later worked for Collin Street Bakery, Hand's Furniture, Cason's Flowers and sold real estate. She married Robert Thomas Hull on May 10, 2011 and together enjoyed six years of marriage along with traveling. She was a member of the Kinsloe House.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Worsham Crawford; her parents and five siblings.
She is survived by her husband, Robert Hull of Corsicana; daughter, Linda Denbow and husband Donnie of Corsicana; son, Bill Crawford and wife Pam of Corsicana; granddaughter, Laurie Watson and husband Mark of Corsicana; grandsons, Don A. Denbow of Corsicana and Corey L. Crawford and wife Amanda of Van Alstyne; great grandchildren, Hunter Denbow and friend Jenna Thomas of Corsicana, William S. McCoy of College Station, Trevor Denbow of Corsicana, Cathryn McCoy of Austin, Andrew Denbow of Corsicana, Mathew Crawford and Emma Crawford of Van Alstyne and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
Visitation with the family will be held from 2 to 3 p.m. Sunday, Jan. 21, 2018. Funeral service to follow at 3 p.m. at Westminster Presbyterian Church with Dr. John Blewitt and Rev. Floyd Petersen officiating. Interment will follow in Oakwood Cemetery. Grandsons will serve as pallbearers.
Memorial contributions may be made to either the Presbyterian Children's Home & Services or to the United Way.
