Joseph Edward Stroube, age 87, of Corsicana and Dallas was called home to be with the Lord on Friday, Oct. 7, 2016 while vacationing in Branson, Missouri. He was born on Feb. 20, 1929 and loved by his parents Bess and W.C. Stroube.

After high school, he attended Menlo College and UCLA. He and Betty Nell were blessed with a beautiful marriage of 67 years and had two devoted daughters, Elizabeth and Susan Stroube.
He exemplified the love of the Father through his unconditional love for his family and others. Everyone who met him loved him. He had a zeal for life and adventure. He loved to travel, fly airplanes, ride motorcycles and he even took his family sky-diving.

His family and his faith meant everything to Joe. He is greatly loved and will be missed, but we are thankful to know that he is in the Father's arms.
