John H. Oldenburg, 63, of Corsicana passed away Saturday, Aug. 12, 2017 at his residence. He was born on Aug. 26, 1953 in Rochester, New York to John H. and Beverly Oldenburg.
John was a loving and caring person to everyone he met. He was a skilled handyman and was extremely talented in building and fixing any project that he undertook. He was dependable, always willing to help, and put the needs of others before his own. He always made sure his children, family, and friends were taken care of. His sense of humor is a quality of his personality that will never be forgotten and he will be greatly missed by his family, co-workers and host of friends that will remember him fondly.
He was preceded in death by his parents; and sister, Lori Guess.
He is survived by his wife, Darlene Oldenburg; sons, Chris Oldenburg and wife Heather, Drew Oldenburg; daughter, Sara Oldenburg and step-daughter, Tabytha Kimbriel; grandchildren, Curtis Oldenburg and Serenity Richardson; his sisters, Dale Christianson and Kathy Oldenburg-Rogers.
