Jackie McNeill, 101, of Henderson passed away Sunday, Feb. 4, 2018 at The Hampton's Assisted Living Facility in Tyler. Jackie was the daughter of the late Phillip and Fannie Greenup, and was born July 21, 1916 in Navarro. She was an active member of Calvary Baptist Church in Henderson. She loved the Keenage and Caring & Sharing Ministries of her church. Jackie served her Lord as a pastor's wife until Martin retired from active service. She was an avid walker at the Lions Stadium track and also volunteered for the Golden Lions. She was a wonderful cook and totally perfected her mother's "tea cake" recipe.
In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by her brother and sisters. Survivors include her children, Bonnie Vaughn and husband Frank of Henderson, Bettye Vaughn and husband Billy of Whitehouse, Billie Epperson and late husband Jimmy of Conroe, and Ron McNeill and wife Phyllis of Fairview; 12 grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren, and 24 great-great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
Graveside services will be held at noon Wednesday, Feb. 7, 2018 at Oakwood Cemetery in Corsicana with Rev. Gary Vaughn, Jackie's grandson, officiating. Interment will follow under the direction of Crawford - A. Crim Funeral Home of Henderson.
