Emmazell Bailey, 89, of Corsicana passed away Saturday, July 8, 2017 at the Twilight Home in Corsicana. She was born April 8, 1928 in Cryer Creek to George Hubert and Blanchie Odessa Coker Dill.
She was a beloved Mother and grandmother. She was a faithful member of Mildred Baptist Church where she dearly enjoyed her Sunday school class. She was a talented artist and quilter. She retired from Collin Street Bakery after many years of service.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles William Bailey; parents, George and Blanchie Dill; brothers, Tommy Joe and Clyde Dill and a sister, Betty Adams.
She is survived by her sons, Ronny Ray Bailey of Collinsville, Danny Derl Bailey of Caddo Mills, and Hank Bailey of Corsicana; daughter, Tina Nannett Cupps of Denton; daughter-in-law and faithful caregiver, Cindy Bailey of Corsicana; grandsons, Paul, John, and Anthony Bailey; granddaughters, Amy, Laura, Melanie, Angela, and Kelsey; great grandchildren, Brooklin and Jacob; brothers, Clifford Dill and Bill Dill of Corsicana; sisters, Dorothy Toms of Corsicana and Vera Brown of Caney City, and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
Visitation with the family will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. Monday, July 10, 2017 at Corley Funeral Home.
Graveside services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, July 11, 2017 at the Dresden Cemetery with the Rev. Tony Neal officiating.
Memorial contributions may be made to either the American Cancer Society or the American Heart Association in her memory.
