Connie Sue Smith Messer, 67, of CenterPoint, formerly from Trinidad,
passed away Thursday, Nov. 17, 2016. Connie was born Jan. 10, 1949 to Ellis and Mildred Huffman in Coffeyville, Kansas.
Connie was the Navarro Regional Hospital Business Office Director for 28 years. She was a member of Calvary Temple Church, the Red Hatters and the Kiwanis Club.
She is survived by her husband, Loyd Messer; daughter, Shannon Smith; sons, Scott and Steve Smith; step-children, Darrel, Lindsey, Ashley, Deena, and Loyd Ray; sisters, Star Bradley; brother, J.D. Huffman; nine grandchildren, Katie, Kaleb, Kyle, Travis, Meagan, Raven, Vance, Taylor, and Ethan and five step-grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be Vance Baker, Justin Gaston, Steve Smith, Scott Smith, Myles Messer, and Darrel Messer.
Services are scheduled for 11 a.m. Tuesday, Nov. 22, 2016 at Carroll-Lehr Funeral Home with burial to follow at Oaklawn Memorial Park.
