Charity Elizabeth "Liz" Stovall passed away Saturday June 10, 2017 in Corsicana. She was born April 5, 1945 in Savannah Gerogia.
Liz was a member of Second Avenue Missionary Baptist Church and a lover of animals.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Corbett and Pearl Williams, her son Douglas Barton and her step-children, James Stovall and Kerri Nodine Stovall.
Liz is survived by her husband, Dennis D. Stovall; children, Allyson Springer and her husband Randy of Newton, Iowa and their son Reed Shepard of Camp Pendleton, California; David Barton and his wife Lynda and their children Nick and Mariah Barton of Brentwood, Tennessee; step-children, Nola Evans of Burnet, Wylie Evans of Corsicana, Bill Evans of Conroe, Stephan Stovall and Joyce of Mansfield, Vallory Leech and Duke Chenault of Hackberry, Louisiana and Denise and Ed Brassart of Arlington. She is also survived by her sister Cheryl Ange and her husband, Doug of Buckingham, Virginia, and her brother Lawrence Counts and Rhonda of Savannah Georgia and many nieces and nephews
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, June 16, 2017 at the Second Avenue Missionary Baptist Church in Corsicana.
