Cecil Howard "Bikie" Thomas, Jr. was born on July 8, 1953 to the parentage of the late Cecil Howard Thomas, Sr. and Cora Lee Thomas.
Cecil accepted Christ at an early age at Mt. Olive Baptist Church under the pastorship of Rev. E. C. Davis. He faithfully attended under watch care at North Star Fellowship in Irving under the leadership if Rev. Ray Albertson.
Cecil received his education from G.W. Jackson Elementary and J.R. High School and was a proud graduate of the class of 1972 from Corsicana High School. He was employed by Toyota Corporation, Lockheed Martin and retired from the City of Fort Worth.
Cecil was called home on Saturday, Jan. 14, 2017 after a long illness. On this day, 49 years ago his father passed away.
He was preceded in death by his father and two sisters, Jacqueline and Brynda Thomas.
He leaves to cherish his memories his mother Cora Lee Thomas; son, Marcus Thomas; daughters, Jackie Ealy (Marc,) and Hykemia Tate (Tate;) devoted friend Orestine Timmons; sisters, Sandra Haynes, Johnnie, Joy, Debra and Renee Thomas; brothers, Jefferey (Brenda,) Michael Gayland (Mary,) Danny, Terry Thomas (Thelma;) three grandchildren; two aunts, Shirley Ware and May Ola Oston; three uncles, R. C. "Jack," Johnny B. and Nathaniel Calhoun; another good friend and sister Andrewlene Thomas; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends and a special family, the Jessie Family of Corsicana.
A memorial service will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 21 at Mt. Olive Baptist Church in Corsicana with Rev. Alfred Cox, pastor and eulogist.
