Arnold's Story

Arnold Coker, 84 of Corsicana, passed away Monday, Nov. 7, 2016. He was born in Eureka to Laford George Martin Coker and Nannie Mae Bates Coker. He worked for Miller Hat Factory and later retiring from Kmart. Arnold enjoyed fishing, hunting and woodworking. He had a lot of enjoyment going garage selling.
He was preceded in death by his parents, brother Junior Martin Coker and wife Dorothy Coker.
He is survived by his sons, Jacky Coker and wife Ruby, Randy Coker and wife Becky; six grandchildren; 14 great grandchildren; sisters, Vivian Jordan and Bernice Hull and special friend Bonnie Owen.
V isitation will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 9, 2016 at Griffin-Roughton Funeral Home. Funeral service will begin at 2 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 10, 2016 at Griffin-Roughton Funeral Home chapel with Bro. Tony Neal and Bro. Gary Johnson officiating.
Interment will follow at Eureka Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Cannon Coker, Gunnar Coker, Grayson Coker, Jimmy Curry, Cavendar Green and Paul Palos. Honorary pallbearers will be John Wall, Parker Zamzow, Brett Zamzow, Eric Coker.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to, National Foundation for Transplants c/o Randy Coker 5350 Poplar Ave. Suite 430 Memphis, TN 38119 or Habitat for Humanity Corsicana.
