Aden Seth's Story
Aden Seth Cook was born Sept. 10, 2014. He went to live with Jesus, his Daddy-O, Pawpaw, Nanny and Nene in heaven on Oct. 20, 2017, after a brief, lightening-paced time on earth. His short life was filled with baseball watching, running, gate climbing, leaf raking, running, cow calling, ninja fighting, running, scrambled egg making, floor sweeping, running, friends, singing, church and Jesus.
Aden was deeply and unconditionally loved by his family. He touched our hearts, made us laugh, scared us by his fearlessness, and showed us the acrobatics of a blonde-headed Ninja warrior.
He is survived by his parents, Andrew and Amber Cook, and brothers Owen and Alijah Cook of Bryan, Texasa; grandparents Dan and Norma Tatum of Burleson and Rob and Margo Cook of Corsicana; Great-grandparents John and Laverne Tatum of Crockett and Sue Cook and the late Leland Cook of Corsicana; aunts and uncles, Miranda Tatum and Nolan Tatum of Burleson; Russell and Audrey Reed and Kyle and Candace Cook all of Corsicana; cousins Jaxson, Lillie and Libby Reed, Kaeleigh, Tucker, Kenlee and Karame Cook and many other family members and friends.
Funeral services will be held at Northside Baptist Church, Corsicana at 2 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 26, 2017 with Dr. John LaNoue officiating, preceded by visitation at 1 p.m. and followed by a private burial at the family cemetery. Pallbearers will be Jimmy Bass, Kyle Cook, Russell Reed and Nolan Tatum. Honorary Pallbearers will be Tamera Bass, Candace Cook, Audrey Reed, Miranda Tatum and Jaxson Reed. To celebrate Aden's love for the Texas Rangers, the family asks that those attending the service come dressed for a Rangers game.
